FAQ

ABOUT THE BAZAAR

How many people are allowed to man a booth?

A maximum of 3 persons (including ADULT) are allowed to be at the booth, running the stall at any one time. Due to the space constraints and safety regulations from the mall, every stall must adhere to the regulation.

Can my other relatives (children) partner my child to run the booth?

As long as no more than 3 persons (including adults) are behind the stall, we will allow for relatives to run the stall together. Please note that if more than 3 persons (including adults) are running the stall at the same time, the mall reserves the right to impose a fine for compromising fire safety hazard.

Can my helper run the stall with my child?

No – we would not advice this as the purpose of this event is to (1) allow kids to develop entrepreneur skills (2) encourage parent-child bonding

Can my stall sell home-cooked food?

Under Section 35 of the Environmental Public Health Act, Chapter 95, set by National Environment Agency, home-cooked food products are not allowed to be sold commercially. However, if the items are from a licensed food supplier (registered with NEA), the items can be sold. Please note that we will be adhering to these terms & conditions – failure to comply allows the organisers to remove your products immediately without compensation.

What are the operating hours of the Bazaar?

All Kidpreneur & Mumpreneur Stalls can choose to run their stalls on Sat (31 Aug) or Sun (1 Sept) or both days. On each day, each stall must be in operation from 10:30am – 7pm.

What items are prohibited to be sold?

(a) Home-cooked/ home-baked products without an approved NEA license

(b) Unlicensed, flammable, banned products or items which violate any trademark or copyright;

(c) Any other items, merchandise or goods that are prohibited by law.

Are pre-loved items allowed to be sold?

Yes. However, please try to ensure that the items are still in fairly good condition.

What is provided to each stall at the bazaar?

- 1 table (3 ft X 3ft)

- 2 plastic chairs

Please note you are not allowed to bring your own table or chair for use during the bazaar. Please bring along your own table cloth (White cloth preferred) to overlay our tables.

Are there electrical power points?

Yes. However as they are shared, please bring your own extension cord if required. Electricity is for mobile phone charging, laptops and extra lighting. No electrical appliances with heating elements such as steamers or water boilers are allowed.

Are parking coupons provided?

No.

Can I choose my own booth?

Booth allocation is strictly based on organiser’s discretion. For the purpose of Kidpreneur’s Bazaar, booths are assigned based on first-come-first-served basis

Can I change my day of booth allocation after I have selected?

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

Any request to change or cancel a booking has to be made by the Vendor via email to the Organiser, notifying the request at least 21 days before the date of operation by the Vendor. An Admin-Fee (amounting to 15% of the total booking fee) will be levied for EACH request for change or cancellation.

Any successful request to change or cancel a booking, which results in the partial refund of the booking fee, shall be returned by the Organiser to the Vendor, in the form of a valid refund coupon (with the actual value of refund amount) for the Vendor’s use in subsequent booking of booth with the Organiser.

Any request to change or cancel a booking within 14 days from the date of operation by the Vendor, will NOT be entertained, and as a result, no refund or any other form of compensation in monetary terms or otherwise, will be awarded to the Vendor concerned.
